after Maiyet, Paris

{Rag & Bone hat, Alexander Wang cape, Free People blouse, vintage Chanel bag, Chanel shoes}

i am always incredibly idealistic about what i am going to wear to the shows in Paris, but it inevitably comes down to warmth and comfort, particularly when navigating multiple shows in one day's time. we made an attempt at being truly Parisienne this go round by taking the subway on several occasions. it feels pretty ridiculous to be jammed tightly in there in an outfit as such (a tiny, seemingly cute old woman tried to unlock my Chanel and rob me this same day) but most of the time we got where we needed to go more quickly than in a cab. aside from also feeling totally legit, it was a great way to get to know the different parts of the city.

these photos were taken by Cinched after the Maiyet s2013 runway show. the collection was inspired by indigenous Peruvians and varied from clean white separates to printed silk dresses, all infused with a slight utilitarian vibe. be sure to view the enite collection on style.com
