i think it is clear i have come into my 30's. last summer, you may have heard me rattling on about a proper faux tan or a false lash as fundamentals to my summer beauty regime (in my defense, these were to protect from the sun and not have to deal with putting on make-up), and while i am not completely opposed to these things now (for the right occasion only), i have taken a much more au natural approach  to my overall aesthetic. i am into minimal makeup, just eyes (mascara and liner or a touch of creamy shadow) and lips. for my skin, i am slowly trying to work over to all natural, organic products. and for my hair...well that is a never ending story. what i really want is super blonde, middle part, soft wave kate bosworth-ish hair that is effortless and cool. unfortunately (and fortunately, i guess) i have super thick hair that is a total mixture of inconsistent curls. i am actually considering a brazilian blowout, not even for vanity reasons but more so for efficiency and lifestyle purposes. i mean honestly, who wants to spend an entire hour just blow drying their hair?

in my ongoing process of perfecting this routine, i have come across a handful of products that i am keeping on heavy rotation (clockwise from the top):

~Oribe Gold Lust Nourishing Hair Oil to keep my frizz under control until i take the blowout plunge.
~Oribe Conditioner for Brilliance and Shine - seriously does wonders and smells divine.
~La Roche-Posay Sunscreen - the only sunscreen that magically does not cause me to break out.
~Oribe Shampoo for Brilliance and Shine
~Klorane eye make-up remover with cornflower oil - absolutely incredible.
~Organic Olive Oil and Beeswax eye and lip cream. i got this from my facialist who is truly a magician. she gives a two hour facial using all natural organic products that she makes (and sells) herself. her identity is staying in the vault in fear that i will never be able to get an appointment, but if you really want to know - email me.

have any of you ever had a blow out or keratin treatment? results?
